Richard Dreyfuss didn't earn a penny for his role in new movie PIRANHA-3D - he donated his pay cheque to the kids' charity he runs.
More than 30 years after he tacked maneating sharks in Jaws, the Oscar winner takes on another flesh eating sea creature in the forthcoming horror.
And he insists he was happy to act for free.
Dreyfuss tells the New York Post, "I'm doing that because (studio boss) Bob Weinstein has given a very big cheque to the Dreyfuss Initiative, which is a nonprofit that teaches political power to grades K (kindergarten) to 12."
