DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON is set to star in comedy film 'Dan Mintner: Badass For Hire', which will shoot next year.
DWAYNE 'THE ROCK' JOHNSON is in talks to star in 'Dan Mintner: Badass For Hire'.
The former wrestler - who has eschewed comedy in recent years in favour of action-heavy films - is loosely attached to take part in the Chad Kultgen-written comedy, which has been in development for the last four years.
The film tells the tale of the world's biggest ''badass'' who is charged with helping a kidnapped billionaire, according to The Wrap.
'Lesbian Vampire Killers' Phil Claydon was previously attached to shoot the movie but is no longer thought to be involved, however a decision over the director will need to come soon if New Line want to meet their target of shooting it in 2013.
Dwayne is currently in London where he is shooting the latest film in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise 'Fast Six'.
He is also signed up to appear in the third 'Journey' film, which is also expected to shoot next year.
