The Eagles have scrapped two upcoming stadium shows with Keith Urban and the Dixie Chicks amid reports bass player TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT is ill.
The classic rockers have refused to offer a reason for the cancellations in Pennsylvania on 14 and 15 June (10), but the band has only just returned to the road after scrapping a string of shows to allow bassist Timothy B. Schmit to recover from unexpected surgery.
The group cancelled a handful of concerts when Schmit fell ill. He underwent surgery on 14 May (10).
Performing at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on Thursday night (20May10), Schmit took a moment to acknowledge a friend in the audience, coyly revealing, "He's partially responsible for me being here tonight."
He then dedicated Love Will Keep Us Alive to Poco star Richie Furay.
