Eddie Murphy is alive and well, despite becoming the victim of the latest celebrity death hoax. Murphy was alleged to have tragically died in a snowboarding accident in Zermatt, Switzerland, though the 'Trading Places' star wasn't even in Europe at the time of the alleged incident.

Though Murphy is fit and healthy, it looks as though his reported relationship with actress Rocsi Diaz may have taken a turn for the worst. According to the UK's Daily Mail, the pair were spotted in Maui, Hawaii, taking paddle board lessons and getting wiped out by the waves, before relaxing together on a yacht - though Diaz appears to be denying that the vacation ever took place. In a recent interview with the New York Post, the actress spoke about her experiences working with the veteran comedian, but when Michael Riedel pushed her on the beach snaps, Diaz responded, "A yacht? I've never been on a yacht with Eddie Murphy.I've gone to beaches but I've never been on a beach with Eddie before". Riedel asked if the pair were just friends, with Diaz saying, "We're friends". The columnist then attempted to do away with the obvious awkwardness by joking, "Would you come on my yacht?".

In the past, Murphy has been linked to singers Toni Braxton and Mel B from the Spice Girls, the latter of whom he fathered a child with.
