Elle Macpherson - Elle Macpherson Copes With The Arrival Of Whitney Port
Elle Macpherson has had to change her judging style on 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' following the arrival of 'The Hills' star Whitney Port to the panel. MACpherson's co-judge Julien Macdonald says he's noticed a different side to the model following the arrival of Whitney and Tyson Beckford from the United States.
Speaking to the Press Association, Julien explained, "She's a bit tougher this season. She had two new judges to compete with and the thing with these Americans is they're loud and they shouted, there was lots of times when we said, 'You Americans, shut up'. Port rose to fame on MTV reality series 'The Hills', though became the narrator and main star of the spin-off 'The City'. She was formerly a fashion contributor to Teen Vogue and has worked for Diane Von Furstenberg. Tyson is best known as one of Ralph Lauren's most prominent models, though also has television experience having hosted the Bravo show 'Make Me a Supermodel'.
The new series of 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' launches on July 9, and will feature guest appearances from the likes of Alesha Dixon, Mel B and Pussycat Dolls star Kimberley Wyatt. The winning contestant will secure a contract with international modelling agency Models 1, a cover on Company magazine and a deal with Revlon cosmetics.
