Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley's Tomb Up For Auction
Fans of Elvis Presley can now follow the music legend into the grave - his original tomb is going up for auction.
The A Little Less Conversation hitmaker was laid to rest inside a large underground chamber at the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee following his death in August, 1977, but The King's remains were relocated two months later and reburied at his iconic Graceland home alongside his mother Gladys.
Now his original crypt is set to go under the hammer at an upcoming sale, according to Tmz.com.
Celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien will oversee the macabre lot and the winner will receive the tomb, opening and closing of the vault for burial, a memorial inscription and use of the chapel.
Bidding will commence on 23 June (12) as part of the Music Icons auction, which will see the sale of more than 600 items from the biggest stars in the industry, including Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.
