Emma Watson Reveals New Fashion Line
Emma Watson - star of the 'Harry Potter' movies - has modelled the latest range of fair-trade pieces, from fashion brand People Tree. Watson has been working closely with the company recently, and now the actress has unveiled the new winter collection. OK Magazine quoted the British star as saying, "Although I wasn't centrally involved in the design of this collection, I had great fun in helping People Tree select some gorgeous Fair Trade textiles - a dogtooth hand-woven check, cable knits, and the first Fair Trade hand-woven brushed checked fabric which has been made into easy tulip skirts, dresses and shirts".
Although recently chopping off her long locks, Watson appears in the photo-shoot with her strawberry blonde hair still intact, modelling a variety of ethical products including checked shirts, party dresses, and knitted jumpers.
Earlier this month, the 20-year-old actress famed for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, travelled to Asia to visit workers at the Fair Trade firm 'Swallows', who produce People Tree's latest range. Watson tried her hand at the sewing and weaving machines in the factories of Dhaka and Bajshahi.
