Picture: Rihanna arrives at Heathrow Airport to catch a flight back to America London, England - 10.09.12
Rihanna caused quite a stir at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, showing off a sharp new hairstyle before embracing Chris Brown, her former boyfriend who viciously attacked her on the eve of the Grammy Awards in 2009.
It seems the Barbadian star isn’t done making headlines this month, getting into an online ruckus with Piers Morgan on Twitter. It all started when the former tabloid journalist began musing on the closing ceremony of the Paralympics Games in London - at which Rihanna was performing - tweeting that the singer needed to “grow her hair back. Fast.” Within minutes of coming off-stage, the ‘We Found Love’ star had hit back, unequivocally telling Morgan, “Grow a dick…FAST!!” Unperturbed, Piers asked, “This a good time to ask for an interview?” to which Rihanna somewhat surprisingly replied, “Haaaa! Only if it's not about cosmetics! But phuck yea lets do it!!!!!!!!!” Ahead of her appearance at the closing ceremony in London, Rihanna’s new tattoo had become a trending topic on the micro-blogging site after she tweeted a photograph to her 25 million followers. The latest inking – featuring the Egyptian goddess Isis - honors Rihanna’s grandmother Dolly, who passed away in July after a lengthy battle with cancer. “Goddess Isis- Complete Woman - Model for future generations - GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart”, she told followers.
