Mia Farrow will always have a special bond with British child star Freddie Highmore after the two faced death together while travelling through France. Farrow, who plays the Finding Neverland star's grandmother in new family film ARTHUR + The Invisibles, was out visiting the beaches of Normandy during a break from filming when their driver fell asleep at the wheel. The car Farrow and Highmore were passengers in spun out of control and ended up in a ditch after the young actor's father, who was sitting next to the tired driver, wrestled with the steering wheel to save them all from death. Farrow recalls, "I went out and about with Freddie and his dad and we almost got killed when our driver fell asleep at the wheel. We narrowly escaped death. "We were all just jamming on the imaginary brakes. When we did come to a stop at the side of the road, the driver just fell asleep on the ground, so Freddie's father took the wheel from that time forward. At least we're still here to talk about it. "Freddie is a great mime and he does an amazing rendition of our driver falling asleep. He is loads of fun and we had a near-death experience together."
