British Dj Fatboy Slim raided Sir Paul McCartney's skip after he moved out of his home in Brighton, south England to recover a music stand once owned by the Beatles legend.

The stars were neighbours in the seaside town, but when the rocker moved away from the community, the disc spinner - real name Norman Cook - was determined to find a memento.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "When he moved out there was a music stand in a skip - so I thought it was worth keeping.

"He was a fantastic neighbour, actually. It would never cease to freak me out when he would nip into our kitchen and go, 'Only me. How are you doing?' He was great to have a laugh with."
