Justin Timberlake and Tina Fey were both honoured with Emmy Awards on Saturday (12Sep09) for their comedy turns on U.S. show Saturday Night Live.
Funnygirl Fey was handed the Best Guest Actress on a Comedy Series honour at the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys for her satirical portrayal of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on the late night show.
The 39 year old poked fun at her political alter-ego during her acceptance speech in Los Angeles: "Mrs. Palin is an inspiration to working mothers everywhere because she bailed on her job right before Fourth of July weekend. You are living my dream. Thank you, Mrs. Palin!"
Timberlake was handed the Best Guest Actor on a Comedy Series award. Michael J. Fox was given the Outstanding Guest Actor on a Drama Series for his turn in Rescue Me, while Ellen Burstyn was named Outstanding Guest Actress for Law & Order: SVU.
The remainder of the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented at a star-studded ceremony on 20 September (09).
