Westlife singer SHANE FILAN is investing for his old age - he's developing a retirement home in his native Ireland.
The star set up Shafin Developments with his brother Finbarr in 2004, and the pair has been granted planning permission by local authorities in his hometown of Sligo to build a $7.5 million (£5 million) nursing home.
The siblings are planning to construct a string of retirement villages, as well as luxury apartments and shopping outlets, according to Britain's The Sun.
