Flaming Lips Anthem Dropped As Oklahoma's State Song

The Flaming Lips' Do You Realize? has been dropped as their native Oklahoma's official state rock song.
Governor Mary Fallin has opted not to renew former Governor Brad Henry's executive order that instated the track as an official Oklahoma anthem, even though state residents voted for it over songs by Elvis Presley and Wanda Jackson in 2009.
Fallin's spokesman Alex Weintz tells eCapitol.com that the Governor has nothing against the track, but she has more important priorities than renewing her predecessor's state song list.
