Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has hit out at the comedy-drama series Glee and its creator Ryan Murphy.
Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl has launched a scathing attack on Glee creator Ryan Murphy and claims the hit HBO show is "not his thing", reports the Hollywood Reporter.Grohl slammed Murphy for his attitude towards signing up bands to appear on the show, saying, "You shouldn't have to do fucking Glee. And then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his fucking show. Fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee". When asked whether he has ever watched the show, Grohl responded by saying, "I watched 10 minutes. It's not my thing". The singer's attack echoes the recent comments made by ex-Guns N'Roses guitarist Slash, who called the program "worse than Grease" . Rock band the Kings Of Leon have also turned down a request from Murphy to use their songs.
Grohl's band the Foo Fighters played an impromptu set at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, earlier this week. The group performed at the popular Stubbs Bar-B-q venue, which played host to Duran Duran on Wednesday (16th February 2011).
