Former rock rivals Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn put their differences behind them for good on Saturday (23Mar13) by performing together at a charity concert in London.

Ex-Oasis star Gallagher had a long-running war-of-words with Blur in the 1990s but he buried the hatchet with the group's singer Albarn after a chance meeting in 2011 - and now they have teamed up musically.

The pair was on the bill for one of the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, which Gallagher stepped up to curate this year (13) as a favour to organiser Roger Daltrey, and they thrilled fans by stepping onto the stage together at London's Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night.

They performed a rendition of Blur's hit track Tender, along with the band's guitarist Graham Coxon and rock veteran Paul Weller.

Albarn had earlier performed with Coxon, while Gallagher went on to stage a set filled with songs by Oasis and his new band, High Flying Birds.

The 2013 charity gigs have so far included shows by Kasabian and Primal Scream, while Weller is set to headline the next concert on Monday (25Mar13).
