In the latest effort to counter users of TiVo and other digital recording devices who fast-forward through commercials, Fox will begin running a 30-second promo in the U.K. for its new drama Brotherhood using a single still image of Providence, RI, where the show is set. TiVo users fast-forwarding through it still see the image. Those watching it on TV see the image as well as dialogue from show in the background. The show is set to launch in the U.K. next month.
