Ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has made progress in her ongoing health fight after overcoming an infection she developed last week (ends08Aug10).
Doctors have agreed to discharge the ageing star from hospital on Wednesday (12Aug10) after successfully beating the infection.
She will leave Los Angeles' Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center with a police and ambulance escort, her publicist John Blanchette tells ETOnline.com.
The 93 year old has been hospitalised since breaking her hip while trying to get into her wheelchair on 17 July (10). She underwent hip-replacement surgery but has battled through a number of setbacks, including a bad reaction to morphine.
She is expected to continue her recovery at her California home.
