Lady GaGa has brushed off rumours she fell out with Kanye West over their cancelled joint tour - insisting they are "real friends".
The pair was set to take to the road together on a collaborative trek, but cancelled due to "creative differences".
The Poker Face singer is convinced the duo could still take to the stage together in the future - despite admitting she will not use any of the pair's joint ideas for her upcoming solo concerts.
She tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I'm certainly inspired by what we were doing, but I made a decision based on integrity not to use any of the things that we had designed together.
"It just wasn't the right timing (to go on tour with West). I don't want to embellish on it too much, because I want to respect Kanye's privacy. But we just had our own reasons.
"We're real friends, real friends can make decisions like that, and we wanted to keep the momentum going in terms of pop music staying innovative with hip-hop and R&B, and we really wanted to do it, and it just wasn't the right time. But who's to say what will happen in the future?"
Lady Gaga will kick-off The Monster Ball tour in November (09).
