Actor LANE GARRISON has pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence in connection with the death of a teenager in December 2006. The former Prison Break star also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and to providing alcohol to a minor at a hearing in Los Angeles today (21May07). If found guilty, Garrison faces a maximum prison sentence of six years and eight months. He is due back in court on 2 August (07). Vahagn Sedian was a passenger in Garrison's Land Rover when the actor lost control of the vehicle and crashed after leaving a pre-Christmas party last year. The 17-year-old was later pronounced dead in hospital. The police report states Garrison's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when they tested him for drink-driving at the scene. Garrison's attorney Harland Braun says, "What's unusual in this society is he is admitting full responsibility - that's a breath of fresh air." Garrison is free on $100,000 (GBP50,000) bail.
