Gary Barlow - Gary Barlow Throws Out X-factor Contestant
Gary Barlow, the Take That singer currently working as a judge on the Uk X-Factor, was forced to throw out a singer on the show after the man refused to leave the stage following his failed audition. Barlow had to intervene after Michael Lewis reacted angrily to the judges negative feedback, according to the UK's Sun newspaper.
His performance of Geri Halliwell's 'Look At Me' was described as "a bit weird" by Tulisa Contostavlos and booed by the live studio audience. The X Factor wannabe, who received similar feedback last year after performing Michael Jackson impersonations, lay down on the floor and refused to move. The singer called the audience "two-faced and shallow" before Gary Barlow walked on stage and handed him his jacket, ordering him to leave. An insider said, "Everyone was very grateful. Michael acted like a child by slumping down on the stage and it was clear Gary wasn't going to tolerate that behaviour. He really stepped up to his role as head judge". The incident comes just days after judge Tulisa was branded "a scumbag" by the contestant George Gerasimou. After failing with his audition, the singer yelled, "You're just a scumbag from Camden replacing Cheryl on the panel".
Gary Barlow and Take That recently completed a sell-out tour of the UK. The band will play the San Siro stadium in Milan on Tuesday (12th July 2011) before performing in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Munich.
