British actress Gemma Arterton and singer Paloma Faith have donated designer handbags to charity to raise money for a U.K. hospice.

The stars, alongside British Tv presenters Davina MCCall and Zoe Ball, have given up their beloved bags to Handbags for Hospices. They will be auctioned off later this month (28Feb13) at the Hotel Du Vin in Brighton, England.

The event will benefit The Martlets Hospice in Brighton which provides care and respite for terminally ill patients and needs to raise more than $14,000 (£9,000) each day to continue its work.
