Tying for second place were children's show Sesame Street and TV soap The Young and the Restless, which received 16 nominations a piece, while Days of Our Lives is up for 15.
Also receiving mentions were All My Children, One Life to Live, The Bold and the Beautiful, Whoopi Goldberg's U.S. talk show The View, Sharon Osbourne's rival programme The Talk, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired its final episode last May (11) after a successful 25-season run.
