George Michael is auctioning off a signed montage of pet photos to raise money for an animal charity in London.

The singer has put together a collection of pictures of dogs he has owned, as well as those kept by workers on his Symphonica tour, and printed the name of each pooch and its owners on the large canvas.

The montage has been hung up backstage at every one of his recent shows so tour staff can see pictures of their pets, and he is now selling it off on auction website eBay.co.uk to raise funds for Mayhew Animal Home in London's Kensal Green.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "Just want to let you know we have a signed goodie up for auction on e-bay, the proceeds will go to a dog rescue charity... It's a signed collection of all the pics we have called the 'doggie wall' on the tour."

A statement posted on eBay, reads, "Story of the Wall: A plastic coated photo montage, 'Dog Wall', of the dogs owned and loved by George Michael and the George Michael Symphonica touring personnel. Each photo of the Symphonica dogs is labelled with the dog's name and its owner. The Dog Wall is hung up backstage at every show so the touring party could see their beloved pet everyday (sic).

"George's dogs Meg and Abbey appear three times on the wall and George has signed their photos... All proceeds will be going to the Mayhew Animal Home, Kensal Green, London."
