Giorgio Armani has revealed his ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2013 was one of his favourites as it boasts a flattering range of pastel colours and interesting textures.
Giorgio Armani thinks his Spring/Summer 2013 collection is very flattering.
The Armani spearhead is proud of the shimmering pastel colours and delicate textures of his new ready-to-wear clothing line and believes the dresses' short hemlines suits all women.
He said: ''The S/S '13 collection was full of things I really liked: the texture of the fabrics that were soft and light to the touch and the colours that I thought were particularly flattering on the models, whether blonde or brunette.
''I also like the freshness of the short dresses and shorts that showed off the legs.''
The Italian fashion maestro is very hands-on behind the scenes during his fashion shows and says he works best in a quiet environment where he can ensure every detail of the models' appearance is perfect.
He added in an interview with Grazia magazine: ''Backstage before the show, I like to check every detail: the rhythm of the music that marks the models' steps, the hair and the make-up.
''The show must be perfect. I work without background music backstage - I prefer the environment to be as calm as possible.
''One of my favourite moments is always straight after the show. It's a time when everyone can see their hard work has paid off.''
