Halle Berry has suffered her latest injury setback, after being rushed to hospital with a minor head injury sustained while working on her new movie 'The Hive'. The 45-year-old was shooting a fight sequence for the thriller when she fell and hit her head, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A representative said in a statement, "She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned". An ambulance rushed the actress to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center just after 10pm, after she developed possible concussion symptoms. It's not the first time that Berry has suffered injury on a movie set - she famously broke her foot while shooting 'Cloud Atlas' in Spain last year, causing her to miss the Academy Awards in February. She was subsequently snapped hobbling around Los Angeles on crutches. In 2004, she was hospitalized after being hit on the head with lighting equipment on the set of Catwoman. One year earlier, she broke her arm while filming 'Gothika' and injured her eye while shooting the James Bond movie 'Die Another Day'.
Somewhat ironically, Berry plays a 911 operator in 'The Hive', which hits theaters in 2013. Her character is tasked with trying to save an abducted child, though is required to confront a killer from her past.
