Harry Potter - Harry Potter Lawsuit Underway
Bosses behind the Harry Potter franchise are facing legal action over a font used on official wizard merchandise.
Scenes from the book and film franchise were brought to life last summer (10) with the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in Orlando, Florida, but executives are being sued over Potter products stocked in the gift shop.
Executives at the P22 Type Foundry company have accused theme park bosses of using a font without permission on official products such as T-shirts, hats and bags.
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in a federal court in New York and demands at least $1.5 million (£93,750) in damages, according to Tmz.com.
