Metallica frontman James Hetfield is counting the ways his rock 'n roll lifestyle has taken its toll on his body.
The vocalist, 45, has racked up an impressive array of injuries in more than 25 years of touring with the rock legends.
And Hetfield, who famously got set on fire onstage in 1992, admits he has even displayed his agonies for fans' enjoyment.
He says, "There's some scars, for sure. At one point we did a body scan and put it in our fan club magazine, highlighting my broken wrist, broken ribs, the burns, this and that."
He adds, "I ruptured a disc in my back on the Summer Sanitarium Tour a few years back. That's the nagging one."
