Hillary Clinton remains one of the foremost figures in American politics, and yet the wife of former US President Bill Clinton is finding herself having to talk about her appearance more than any potential policy on the country. Much has been made of Clinton's recent public appearance where the former First Lady went au natural.
After lots of discussion in the press about her stepping out wearing glasses and with no make-up on, Clinton laughed it off when questioned about it on CNN. "You know at some point, it's just not something that deserves a lot of time and attention," she said, "I feel so relieved to be at the stage I'm at in my life right now . and if others want to worry about it, I let them do the worrying for a change." Continuing she added "Because you know, if I want to wear my glasses I'm wearing my glasses. If I want to wear my hair back I'm pulling my hair back."
Clinton remains the 67th United States Secretary of State, although she has been widely reported to have been thinking about winding down her political responsibilities as she approaches the back end of her 60s. Before her current role, she served for eight years as United States Senator for New York.
