Rockers Hot Chelle Rae are to reward students at a Nevada high school for their anti-bullying efforts by playing a free concert.
Fresh off their New Artist of the Year win at the American Music Awards on Sunday (20Nov11), the I Like It Like That singers will jet to Sin City for the private performance on Monday (21Nov11).
Southwest Career and Technical Academy students earned the gig after the group launched a powerful community awareness campaign, complete with T-shirts and pamphlets for parents and children.
Frontman Ryan Follese says, "We are stoked to be part of such cool concerts events, particularly during this holiday season and at such an exciting time in our lives.
"Our music is all about having fun and feeling good about being yourself and being an individual, so we are naturally excited about these opportunities to support kids who deal with these issues everyday."
