The Los Angeles Police Force are currently scouring the land as they search for GAVIN SMITH, the long-time 20th Century Fox executive who disappeared on Tuesday (May 1st). Smith was last seen driving his black 200 Mercedes 420E sedan between the hours of 9 and 10pm near his family home in suburban Los Angeles. The 57-year-old worked for the film corporation for nearly 18 years, overseeing the production of numerous movies from the production company.
In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Fox's distribution president Chris Aronson has voiced his concern for the missing person, saying that there was no indication as to why Smith may have disappeared. The company is working alongside the police in an attempt to locate the missing man, with missing person reports being placed around the area as well as in various posts across the web.
In a similar report from the Daily Mail, the executive's son Evan Smith, has taken to micro-blogging site Twitter to ask the public for help in finding his father earlier today. His status was set to : "Please help me find my Dad. Retweet to get the word out please," with a link to a story about Mr Smith's disappearance on The Hollywood Reporter.
