Rocker Billy Idol is working on a new project with his musician son Willem Wolfe Broad.
Father and son began working on new tracks while Idol was recently left housebound following surgery on his foot - and now the collaboration is beginning to take shape.
In a tweet to fans, White Wedding singer Idol, who turned 56 on Wednesday (30Nov11), writes, "Worked with Willem Wolfe Broad on some music/song ideas for a future project yesterday."
Willem Wolfe is Idol's son by ex-girlfriend Perri Lister.
Idol and Broad aren't the only rocking father and son duo currently working together - Van Halen has brought Eddie Van Halen and his boy Wolfgang together.
