Imogen Thomas, the Welsh model and television personality, has apologised to fans after posting a Twitter picture of her seemingly flat stomach with the caption, "I'm hating how much weight I've gained over xmas!".
The reality star uploaded a picture of her enviable figure before complaining about the amount of festive weight she'd piled on - she later claimed she was starting the Atkins diet in a bid to shed the pounds. The tweet appeared to come across as insensitive, considering Imogen is no bigger than a size 10, and fans attacked her for hurting those who really struggle with weight problems. After some Twitter followers told the Welsh star she is lucky to have such an "amazing body", the 29-year-old issued an apology, saying, "I'm sorry if my 'weight photo' made ppl angry. I didn't mean to - I have some body issues. Hope u all have a lovely day". The picture also appeared to be the catalyst for some critics of Thomas to weigh in on her spurious 'celebrity status'. After several follows taunted her over having no job, she wrote, "Some people think I live on fresh air. I got news for u...I Don'T. I have bills to pay like every1 else".
Imogen's Twitter followers were kept entertained throughout last night's Celebrity Big Brother launch - with the Welsh socialite slamming several of the female housemates, including model Nicola McLean. She told followers, "Just watching cbb catch up. I love Natalie Cassidy and her task.' Wag' Nicola MCLean is a fake. And as for the other one". The 'other one' was assumed to be Ryan Giggs' sister-in-law Natasha Giggs.
