Iron Man 3 In Second Place Among Pirated Movies

It may have earned nearly $1 billion in ticket sales worldwide, but Iron Man 3 has ranked only No. 2 on the list of pirated movies downloaded via BitTorrent during the past two weeks, according to TorrentFreak.com, which tracks BitTorrent usage. The reason may well have something to do with the fact that only a version of the movie camcorded in a theater has been available. (Clearly such a low-quality bootleg has had little or no effect on Iron Man 3's box-office performance.) The No. 1 film on the list of pirated movies is Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, which was released in January and debuted with just $19.1 million. It's due to be released on DVD on June 11.
