RONNIE WOOD's former lover EKATERINA IVANOVA has urged the ROLLING STONES star to reconcile with his ex-wife JO - because he needs somebody to look after him.
The musician walked out on his wife of 23 years in the summer of 2008 after his affair with the 21 year old was made public.
Their divorce was made final in November (09), but the rocker split from Ivanova last month (Dec09) following a bust-up in Surrey, England.
And Ekaterina is hoping the Woods get back together.
She tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I hope Ronnie and Jo fall madly in love with each other again and get back together. I feel like it's a good place for him. She knows him best and how to handle him. I think he needs to accept that he does need mothering.
"One of the reasons he left was because he was sick of being mothered and because everyone gave him a hard time about his drinking. I felt bad for him. I'd say, 'Ignore them, you're perfect', but I didn't know what I was taking on, that he was a monster when he drank. If I met him now I'd think, 'God, this guy has a drinking problem', but at the time we were just having fun.
"He does need to be with someone motherly and that person is Jo. I said that to him last time we spoke, but he just laughed and said, 'Shut up, you're horrible.' I'd like to think it's possible but I don't know how either of them really feel about it."
Ivanova also reveals she met Jo when she was first romancing the star - but convinced the 54 year old she was just a pal of the ageing rocker.
She adds, "I don't think Jo was exactly cool about it. But she didn't go mad, she just said, 'If you go anywhere with him, I have to come too.'"
