J-boog Slams Domestic Violence Reports

B2K boyband singer J-BOOG has spoken out to blast reports he was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, insisting his legal trouble is solely to do with "outstanding traffic violations".
The Uh Huh star, real name Jarell Damonte Houston, was taken into custody on Monday afternoon (04Jan10) with reports alleging neighbours had heard someone screaming in his Los Angeles home.
TMZ.com claimed the 24 year old was arrested for "corporal punishment on a spouse", leading to speculation he had attacked his fiancee, Jondelle Michelle Lee, the mother of his three children.
But Houston has hit out at the violence reports, insisting he "would never" harm a woman.
In a statement released to BallerStatus.net, the R&B singer says, "I did not get charged with any form of domestic violence against the mother of my children.
"I love and respect all of the women in my life and would never harm any of them. Domestic violence is a very serious matter and one that should be treated that way.
"However, this was not a case of domestic abuse. I was taken into custody due to outstanding traffic violations."
And Houston claims his legal problems are now firmly behind him: "I took care of the situation, no charges were filed, and I was released Tuesday evening. Thank you to my fans who stood by me, regardless of any circulating rumours."
