Rocker Jack Russell has been released from hospital after undergoing treatment for an intestinal infection.
The star, who fronts his Great White band, was admitted to a medical facility last week (ends14Oct12), put on an intravenous drip and prescribed antibiotics.
Russell's illness and hospitalisation prompted the group to play cover songs with local artists at their scheduled Florida gigs on Friday (12Oct12) and Saturday (13Oct12) - but the singer has now returned home and he is planning to take the stage again this weekend (19-21Oct12).
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Out of the hospital. hanging in Florida till the shows this weekend. feeling great!"
