Action star Jackie Chan made Hollywood history on Thursday (06Jun13) by becoming the first person to leave two sets of hand prints at the historic Chinese Theatre.

The Kung Fu king's Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker and The Karate Kid co-star Jaden Smith were on hand to cheer on Chan as he left imprints of his hands, feet and even his nose in wet cement.

Chan first made his mark at the theatre's forecourt in 1997 alongside movie greats including Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable, but his cement slab was lost when owners changed over and the landmark became the TCL Chinese Theatre.

Speaking at the event, he told the crowd, "My first time in the Chinese Theatre, I walked on the red carpet... and I see that there are so many stars doing the interviews. And at that time I had nothing to do, standing there looking around. During all those years I dreamed. Slowly, slowly, I got there."
