Jackson Estate Lawyer Starts Rejecting Creditors' Claims

The trustees of MICHAEL JACKSON's estate have started getting tough with the creditors demanding cash from the late King of Pop - they've rejected seven claims, including one for $300 million (£187.5 million).
Jackson estate lawyer Howard Weitzman has filed legal papers rejecting Allgood Entertainment's claim over a Jackson family concert that was scrapped when the pop superstar signed up for 50 London concerts, which were due to start weeks after he died last summer (Jun09).
Also losing out are Jose Freddie Vallejos, an angry Los Angeles citizen who demanded Jackson pay for his own memorial and Nona Paris Lola Ankhesenamun Jackson, who claimed to have been married to the King of Pop.
Memorabilia collector Richard Lapointe has also had his claim against the estate rejected - he demanded $5 million (£3.1 million) after placing the highest bids on 170 items at a Jackson auction, which was scrapped over ownership issues.
The first major rejections come just days after the King of Pop's longtime personal manager and publicist Raymone Bain became the latest name on the list of creditors seeking cash from the Jackson estate.
Bain, who stood by the late pop superstar's side throughout his child molestation trial in 2005 and regularly defended the embattled singer on TV news shows, claims she's still owed $360,000 (£225,000) for her services.
Jackson's one-time personal general manager joins his former skin doctor, Arnold Klein, and the pop star's media and communications consultant, Van F. Alexander, among the creditors.

It is about time that some of these lawsuits be rejected. I believe the one by Raominde Bain and Arnold Klein should be on that list as well. Neither one of them have grounds for their lawsuits. Raymonde Bain in her own statements says that Jackson owed her $360 thousand but she is suing for $44 million. Now that is ridiculous by all standards. Dr Klein well he is not worth a penny. He did so much damage to Michael that he should be paying the estate instead od suing it. I am glad that the rejections are being I do hope that the estate does pay off what defense team what they are owed. I will continue to keep my thought coming as I continue to read all there is to be said on Michael's behalf.

I consider it's on time that the trustees of Michael Jackson's state rejected some of the claims. Many of the creditors are just greedy people with dollarsigns in their eyes, pretending without rights to get a peace of the cake from the estate.

I also am glad that some of these are being rejected. It is amazing how greedy people are. I hate it that so called friends & comrades are suing him. I also hate all the other greedy people that should just let it go. It is all about who can get money & it is too bad that this is happening to the most generous man ever. Michael was a wonderful man & was taken so advantage of by so many people. Most of these should be rejected. His kids are the ones who should get it. He made enough money for everyone else already. I have such a low opinion of people when I see this. His publicist should be happy she got her name out there. Michael helped her a lot. His doctor should be ashamed of himself. Neither should get anything as well as most of the others. It is just so sad that such a good man gets this even after he has died. I love you Michael & always will. You were one of the truly great people & that is why this is going on because you were so wonderful

FINALLY!!!! Most of these claims are bogus anyway. I mean come on...some crazy women that claims they were married in the late 70s'. Jonh Landis for Thriller. Some of these people are filing claims for things that occured in the 70s 80s & 90s. Why wait to file these claims now that MJ is dead, trying to collect their so called money???? I think that the only valid claims are for services that happened around the time of his death. The chef & Dr. Klein for medical service (not some damn shirt) probably didn't get paid for their services because MJ died suddenly. I hope that the ones that do get paid, get exactly what they are supposed to get & nothing more. FYI: propofol is not addictive & MJ was not a drug addict as stated by the bodyguards that worked for him for 2 years!!!!
