Jackson Loves Shopping In Peace In Paris
Janet Jackson got a rare chance to shop in peace during a recent day off in Paris, France, when bosses of high-end fashion boutiques Hermes and Colette agreed to shut their stores down for her. The pop superstar, who is in Europe promoting her new album 20 YEARS OLD, was able to browse in peace and admits it's one of the luxuries she most enjoys about being famous. She says, "I like it like this when you can come to the store and they leave the place open for you and you can get to run around and just really look." Ironically, Hermes bosses agreed to keep their store open late for Jackson after creating a storm of controversy in 2005 by turning Oprah Winfrey away.
