SIR Mick Jagger was so impressed by a passing ice cream van he offered to buy it for a whopping $150,000 (£100,000) - but the driver gave him no satisfaction.
The Rolling Stone, who is worth an estimated $285 million (£190 million), fell in love with the 1954 vintage vehicle after seeing it rolling through the streets near his London home.
He approached the owner to purchase two ice cream cones - and attempted to scoop the van, too.
Owner Giuseppe Della Camera says, "I was working on Wandsworth Common when Sir Mick came up with his son and bought a couple of ice creams. He told me he'd really fallen in love with my van and asked me if I would consider selling it.
"I was stunned when he offered me £100,000. Sir Mick has got seven children and I think he probably wanted my van to entertain his grandchildren."
But Della Camera had to turn down the rocker's offer - he's saving the restored vehicle after promising to drive to his daughter's wedding in it.
