Northern Irish actor James Nesbitt has reached out to families affected by terrorism in his native country, pleading with officials to help locate the graves of murder victims.
The Hobbit star is mourning the loss of his mother, May, who died in June (12) after a battle with Alzheimer's disease, and he told of his agony at an event in Belfast aimed at highlighting the scandal of victims of terrorist groups who were killed and buried at secret locations.
He has called on supporters to press for help in finding the dead so their relatives can have a grave site to visit.
Nesbitt told the audience, "For families here today, (visiting a grave) is something they've been waiting a lifetime to do."
