Actor Jamie Foxx and singer Lauryn Hill have paid tribute to late actress Yvette Wilson, who lost her battle with cancer on Thursday (14Jun12).
The former Moesha star's TV castmate Shar Jackson was among the first to break the sad news to fans on her Twitter.com blog, and now Wilson's celebrity pals have also expressed their condolences.
Taking to Twitter, Foxx writes, "God bless u Yvette Wilson. Tears in my eyes. Keep God laughing", and comedian Marlon Wayans adds, "Yvette Wilson always a sweetheart...Need a moment. Y'all join me in my twitter moment of silence respecting a beautiful funny lady & friend".
And ex-Fugees star Hill offers up a few words of advice to fans as she laments, "R.I.P Yvette Wilson... She recently lost her battle with cancer. Life is short, so cherish yours."
