Jay McGuiness is plotting to prank his The Wanted bandmates on Valentine's Day (14.02.13).

The 22-year-old singer is planning to send his fellow 'Chasing the Sun' hitmakers - including Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - fake cards signed by celebrities such as Miley Cyrus in order to embarrass them.

He said: ''I might send fake celeb cards to the boys this year, just to see them embarrass themselves by being like, 'I got one from Miley Cyrus!' Then she'll be like, 'I didn't send it, you're lying!' I'm totally going to go for that one. Playing pranks never gets old!''

The singer admits to being at the other end of a cruel love prank when he was younger, revealing that a girlfriend once dumped him without telling him.

He told Top of the Pops magazine: ''I remember when a girl from school dumped me and told everyone apart from me. I arrived and they were like, 'OMG, he doesn't know!' Gutted! I've never dumped someone in a bad way.''
