Jay Z and Kayne West have revealed their latest video for the track 'No Church In The Wild,' with the resultant clip rather aptly portraying the title of the song, showing as it does a world broken out into lawlessness and anger, with nary a prayer in sight. The new video is, as you'd expect from two of the richest rapper on the planet, a high octane, visual feast depicting a break down in law between a police force and the general public, all started by one boy and a Molotov cocktail which he throws at a police line.
From there the scene starts to resemble those seen last summer in the UK capital of London - Jay Z and Kanye West were in the country last week to play at the capital city's O2 Arena - although apparently set in Eastern Europe judging by the shop signs in the background. 'Human beings in a mob, what's a mob to a king? What's a king to a God? What's a God to a non-believer' raps West as the ante is upped, police cars being set on fire.
Overlooking the grim spectacle are under-lit statues and grand architecture, showcasing perhaps the descent that civilization has fallen from the peaks that it's capable of. Perhaps, or maybe Jigga and Ye just fancied doing a video with loads of explosions.
