Jay-Z has hired a cigar maker for his tour.

The rapper - who has 14-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, with his wife Beyoncé - asked a cigar expert he met at a party to accompany him and Justin Timberlake to every venue of their joint Legends Of The Summer world tour.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Jay met this cigar expert at a friend's private party recently. He had been hired to roll cigars for guests in a smoking room.

''They were chatting for ages about the origins of tobacco and all the different types and then Jay-Z offered to have him on board for the tour dates. It goes well with the nature of the tour where there's going to be a lot of whisky and cigars.''

The '99 Problems' hitmaker's aim is to create a ''gentleman's club'' feel backstage, so he and Justin can relax in style.

Jay-Z - real name, Shawn Carter - previously ordered an unlimited supply of Ace of Spades champagne for Kanye West when the pair embarked on their Watch The Throne tour.

The rapper also allegedly forked out £1,000 at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend in London last year - where artists were warned they would have to pay for their own rider - just to ensure his dressing room was kitted out with brown leather sofas, white carpets and pashminas.

During his Home and Home concert series with Eminem in 2010, he reportedly insisted he must only be transported by a late model black Maybach '57 or '62 with tinted windows.
