Jay-Z is throwing Beyonce a party in Monaco this weekend.

The 31-year-old singer is currently in the midst of her 'Mrs. Carter Show' tour and her devoted husband - with whom she has 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy - is planning a lavish bash to coincide with the French Riviera's Formula One Grand Prix as a celebration of his wife's hard work, inviting along various celebrity friends who are visiting to join in the fun.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Jay's having a gold and black-themed do for celebrity pals such as Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Campbell, who will be in town for the Grand Prix.''

The 'Grown Woman' hitmaker is rumoured to be pregnant and was forced to cancel her gig in Antwerp, Belgium, on May 14 but promised to reschedule the show for ''disappointed'' fans who missed out on seeing their idol live.

In a handwritten letter posted on her Facebook the following day of the cancellation, Beyonce said: ''To my dearest fans in Antwerp. I've never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you.''
