Actor Tyrese Gibson is desperate to star in the next FAST & FURIOUS movie, after the massive success of the latest installment.
Gibson starred in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious, but he opted out of subsequent sequels.
The franchise returned in 2009 with its fourth film, Fast & Furious, which proved to be a surprise U.S. box office hit - taking a staggering $72.5 million (£50 million) in its opening weekend last month (03-05Apr09).
And Gibson is so impressed, he wants to jump back onboard.
He tells Starpulse.com, "Listen, love Fast and the Furious, love the numbers it did, love the cast. If my phone rings for five (the fifth installment) I'm right there. They were all beating the door down to try to get me in in four (Fast & Furious). Would've loved to have been a part of it. Didn't work out for whatever reason so my phone is wide open for five and I would love to do it."
