Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck say they are "thrilled" to have another baby on the way. In a one-sentence statement released on Monday (22nd August 2011), the couple announced they were expecting their third child - they are already parents to 5-year-old Violet and 2-year-old Seraphina, reports the Associated Press.
No further details of the pregnancy have emerged, although a source close to the couple told US Weekly the baby was planned, saying, "She's always wanted three kids. This was her plan all along". Affleck and Garner, both 39-years-old, were married in 2005. The actor was previously engaged to the singer Jennifer Lopez, but their wedding was cancelled just hours before the ceremony. During an interview in April, Jennifer spoke of juggling motherhood with her busy acting career, "You have to have a great nanny and you have to have a supportive husband. We figure it out day by day. It's always messy and it's never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through, and as long as the kids are happy, it's all good". The actress rose to fame after starring in the television series 'Alias', while Affleck won an Oscar for co-writing the screenplay 'Good Will Hunting' with his close friend Matt Damon.
Jennifer Garner was previously married to the actor Scott Foley, whom she met on the set of movie 'Felicity' in 1998.
