Jennifer Lopez is proud of the way she's handled her "tough" split from Marc Anthony - because they are "doing the best" they can for the sake of their children.
The Hollywood supercouple, parents to twins Emme and Max, announced their shock separation last July (11) after seven years of marriage.
Lopez addressed the breakdown of her third marriage in Vanity Fair's August (11) edition and later told reporters she wouldn't speak of the split again - but she's opened up about how the couple is dealing with separate lives in the new issue of Vogue magazine.
She explains, "Without going into detail... it's just really, really sad. And look, we are still going through it, and it's emotional sometimes and difficult.
"We're still friends - and we're parents but it's going to take time. It's tough. But for the most part, I feel very proud of the way we're handling it. I really do. We are doing the best we can for the kids.
"It's very dignified and trying to be above all the emotions and pain that come along with a divorce and a family breaking apart. This is grown-up stuff. It's real, serious, grown-up stuff."
Lopez has since moved on from Anthony and is dating dancer Casper Smart.
