Jennifer Lopez's husband Marc Anthony gave her the confidence to sing on her latest album 'Love'.

The 'Get Right' singer admits she had become insecure about her voice ahead of recording her comeback, and said her spouse - who is also a vocalist and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide - helped coach her into singing again.

She told radio station HOT 97: "I'm very proud of who I am as a vocalist from where I started. The voice was always there, I was just so insecure about it in the beginning.

"Marc helped me so much because he was the one who was like, 'You have a beautiful voice.' "

Jennifer who has two-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with Marc - is thrilled with the outcome of the record as it has a different sound to her previous material, and she says Marc became very emotional when he heard the finished product.

She said: "I think people are gonna be surprised with some of the vocals on this album. There's even songs on this album that when he heard the demo, he was like, 'You're gonna sing that?'

"When he heard my version, he was like, 'Wow.' Tears in his eyes. 'I'm so proud of you.' "
